The program aims to produce graduates in Industrial Physics who possess both theoretical knowledge and practical competence, grounded in strong moral and ethical principles in alignment with the Institute’s philosophy. Graduates will be able to integrate knowledge and skills in industrial physics to contribute to sustainable national development and self-reliance.
Thailand’s development in science and technology continues to face a shortage of personnel with specialized knowledge, practical skills, and expertise in physics who are capable of applying their knowledge to analyze and solve problems in industrial, environmental, architectural, medical, and agricultural sectors. In each of these areas, work often involves the maintenance, development, and application of instruments and equipment for qualitative and quantitative analysis, requiring strong foundations in physics and specialized expertise. Such knowledge must also be integrated to support research, innovative inventions, and effective problem-solving across diverse professional contexts, carried out with integrity and ethical responsibility. Accordingly, the Industrial Physics program has been carefully designed and continuously updated to ensure modern relevance and alignment with labor market demands. The curriculum complies with the Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher Education, encompassing five key learning domains: ethics and moral responsibility; knowledge; cognitive skills; interpersonal skills and responsibility; and numerical analysis, communication, and information technology skills. The program emphasizes science and technology in accordance with the Institute’s mission and national development strategies in economic, social, and cultural dimensions. It aims to cultivate graduates with integrated knowledge and practical competence, guided by ethical principles, sound judgment, and a strong sense of responsibility, thereby developing qualified personnel who contribute effectively to the country’s sustainable development.
